The Detroit Supercross is back in a big way, being a little earlier in the year and having it be a triple crown helped draw a strong Michigan crowd tonight
250 Race 1:
The Gate dropped and it was Austin Forker with the holeshot, but just before the finish Jordan Smith made a move past to complete lap 1, then was re-passed by Forkner, with Chase Sexton hanging close in 3rd, then Forkner pulled out a little, Sexton and Smith then had a multi lap dual with Sexton making a pass at one point but Smith re took the 2nd place spot as Sexton made a mistake in the whoops and tossed away the podium for the first race as Yamaha's Justin Cooper made a pass when Sexton went off the track.

450 Race 1:
The 450 Race one holeshot went to the #10 Honda for Justin Brayton with #4 Blake Bagett and #22 Chad Reed in tow, Reed then passed Baggett and took over 2nd place meanwile the #94 Honda of Ken Roczen was recovering from a less than steller start and Eli Tomac came through the pack with him with Eli briefly having a banging match with Barcia. Then Tomac struck Roczen moving himself up to 3rd, Tomac then ran through reed and with 2 laps lef passed Brayton for the win

Austin Forkner capped off his perfect night with a holeshot and ran away with the 3rd main event win, Chase Sexton tried his best to run Forkner down, but in the end he didnt have anything for the #24 Kawasaki

450 Race 3:
the #4 of Blake Baggett gets the holeshot followed by the #51 Yamaha of Justin Barcia, with the #2 KTM of Cooper Web in tow. With The #3 Kawasaki of Eli Tomac buried in the pack and struggling to make moves the leaders battled among themselves. Barcia struck first with an aggressive move putting Baggett off the track by the whoop section.
Eli Tomac meanwile was having issues, running off the track and then re entering around 9th. Lots of passing and moves in the 4-9th place positions, the riders put on a show for the Detroit crowd, Cooper web passed Barcia then Baggett re-mounted a charge to put the squeeze on the leader. With 2 laps to go Baggett had made up the gap and tried to make something happen, but the race savoy of Webb won out and he crossed the line in first.
